What is NMN ?
Nicotinamide Mononucleotide (NMN) is a naturally occurring
compound and an important precursor to Nicotinamide
Adenine Dinucleotide (NAD+), a vital coenzyme found in every
cell of the body. NMN is a nucleotide that consists of a
nicotinamide group (a form of vitamin B3) attached to a sugar
molecule called ribose. It is produced naturally in small
amounts in the body and is found in various foods like
edamame, broccoli, and cucumbers. However, NMN levels tend
to decline with age, which leads to a decrease in the production
of NAD+ (Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide), which can have
several impacts on the body.
Features :
- Improves brain function
and mental clarity. - Slows down aging by supporting DNA
repair & prevents age related
muscle disfunction - Aids in maintaining a
healthy metabolism and
weight management. - Enhances Energy by increasing
NAD+ levels.
How NMN converts to NAD+ in the body?
When NMN is ingested, it is absorbed into cells
and then transformed into NAD+ via an enzyme
called NMNAT (Nicotinamide Mononucleotide
Adenylyltransferase ). This conversion process
is vital for maintaining optimal NAD+ levels in the
cells, particularly as NAD+ levels naturally decl
ine with age.
Role of NAD+ in our body :
- Energy Production : As we age, NAD+ levels decline, leading to decreased energy and fatigue. Supplementing NMN
boosts NAD+ to maintain energy levels Adequate NAD+ levels ensure efficient energy
production, supporting muscle activity, brain function, and overall vitality. - DNA Repair : Efficient DNA repair prevents mutations and maintains genomic stability, reducing the risk of
cancer and age related diseases. Declining NAD+ levels with age impair DNA repair
mechanisms, accelerating cellular aging and disease progression. - Longevity and Anti Aging By activating : By activating sirtuins , NAD+ supports healthier aging, improved metabolism and increased
It slows down age related deterioration in organs, muscles and the brain, promoting vitality and
longevity.
How to Use : As a dietary supplement for adults, take two (2) to
three (3) capsules daily, preferably at mealtime or as directed by your
healthcare practitioner.
